It is impossible to list all the options that are available for a hand made sword, but I have listed here some of the more popular styles.

We usually bind with calfskin or lambskin and use only the finest quality hides.

Calfskin is harder and more durable, lambskin is softer and more comfortable to grip.

Other leather options include thonging, pigskin, rayskin.

Most often we bind grips with black or brown leather.

These are some of the many other choices available.

We can decorate leather binds with a single or double strand of twisted wire.

We also make wire bound grips with stainless steel, copper, brass, silver or gold wire.
