The Swords of Night and Day

Wielded by Skilgannon The Damned in David Gemmell's Novels: White Wolf and The Swords of Night and Day.

We are currently in the process of prototyping these Swords and the image above is a preview of our first prototype.

The first pair will be available to view at our showroom from December 2008.

This picture shows a close-up of the lock on the prototype Sword of Day.

The lock teeth shown are bronze but will be in stainless steel.

The pictures below are illustrations of these swords by Courtney Davis.

The Emerald and Ruby studs on the hilts release the locks holding the blades into the Ebony Scabbard.

The grips are made in Ivory Micarta, or Mammoth Ivory to special order.

We are currently mastering the silver fittings for the scabbard as well as the habaki, guards and pommels of these swords.

The fullers will be engraved with runes, inlaid in gold for Day and silver for Night.

The illustration below shows an upper and lower view of the hilt on the Sword of Night.

The trillion Ruby stud on the top of the hilt releases the blade from the scabbard.

The stone on the underside is inset flush to the silver fitting.

We are limiting this production of the Swords of Night and Day to no more than Two Hundred and Fifty paired swords.

We are now taking orders for these swords, please for further details.
